Boho Vibes
So, what is a boho wedding all about? Think rustic ways, think woodland, think freedom! Pampas grass, burnt orange, deep browns, compliment the bohemian wedding theme perfectly. There is something quite magical about a boho wedding; you can bring the outdoors in or even plan your day in a gorgeous woodland setting! Elsham Hall has an abundance of both, where not only can you hold your ceremony in their rustic barn with stylish backdrops, but you could also opt for an outdoor celebration too, underneath their wondrous pavilion; teamed with faux fur and crates galore, the styling ideas are endless!
With this shoot, we wanted to showcase just that! The endless decor ideas, with a heap of amazing suppliers. Burnt orange and gold, compliment this theme in ways which we didn't event imagine. The sweetheart table was adorned with such beauty, all of which you could have on your special day!

Is there nothing that Michelle at Polka-Dotty cakes cannot do? Set against the gorgeous hoop table-top cake stand display, her boho inspired cake was nothing but perfect for this setting!
Stationery
I could not wait to get started on this new stationery collection! Typography at its finest, I went for burnt orange, ivory, coffee and deep brown colours for this suite. Perfect for your boho wedding - simple!
So, a little story behind the day...
If you are looking for that extra bit of inspiration for your boho wedding then you have come to the right place! This dreamy set-up with funky stationery and seamless decor, is enough to make your mouths water.
I had met with Elaine of Bride Beautiful at Elsham Hall a few weeks prior to the October 2020 photo session, where I had said that I was working on some new stationery designs; timeless themes that could be used again and again. Boho being one of them! Retro lettering and rustic colours, was what I had in mind so mood boards went into production, Elaine's planning expertise went into overdrive, which then led to an amazing collection of suppliers coming together on that glorious October day.
As soon as I had completed my stationery and the samples were in place, I was astounded by the sheer creativity of the Bride Beautiful team. Equally bringing together Whitehouse Event Crockery with their stunning gold, bang on trend, cutlery... I immediately wanted to be transported back to my own wedding day last year so I too could have everything that had been created for my own wedding day! Not only did I create the stationery, but I photographed the shoot too and, believe it was a photographers dream! I couldn't take my eyes off the cake, created by Polka-Dotty Cakes. Simple, yet stylish, this ivory covered cake was adorned with faux flowers, setting the boho theme perfectly! And flowers you say? The stylish crown from Sarah Richards Floral Design, matched perfectly with Devon's gorgeous dark locks; a trendy alternative to the mainstream tiara, to highlight the magic of what boho is all about! Wendy Ashton at Osh Gosh Gowns, instantly put her expertise and eye for detail into incredible action with the flows of this simply stunning, but fun, dress. The true essence of boho vibes!
A styled shoot isn't a styled shoot though when you don't do things on the cuff! Jack Simpson, musician from Hedley Brothers was our groom of the day and came along with his acoustic guitar - the perfect boho wedding addition. Suited with classic tweed from David Jason Formal Hirewear, this timeless look was ideal for this theme. Rolled up sleeves with a trendy waistcoat, it gushed boho with its relaxed feel. And the music? Of course a groom must serenade his bride on their wedding day!
